History

The Yorktown Service Plaza is a family-owned business whose owners care about the community.

In 1972 owner Doug Shull opened Yorktown as a small service station. Forty years later, you will still find Doug, who began as an ASE certified Master Technician, at the same location.

These days, he is joined by his sons, Byron and Matt, and his wife, Mary Hartman Shull. They work with 33 Yorktown employees to make Yorktown both a neighborhood and regional destination.
